As with most boat projects of this magnitude, the mast may need some work. Since the boat spent a few months in salt water, I inspected the rigging quite closely.. I found some rust and fish/meat hooks on most of the standing rigging.. This prompted me to replace all the standing rigging.
My helpers Dale & Todd gave my mast a lift onto the mast trailer that I got from Hooper's Yachts. Hoopers then did all the measuring and replaced all my standing rigging.
Masthead
Mast head with the old rigging still attached. I have a new tri-color mast light, and VHF antennae.
Rewiring the mast
This was a great time to pull new wiring. Found more wiring in the mast then there were items for... I put through VHF cable, wiring for deck/steaming light, and for masthead tri-color
