Catspaw 7 Dinghy
With the restoration of the Dufour coming to a finish we needed another project for the winter. Knowing that I will be spending a lot of my cruising time in the Apostle Island's I wanted a nice stable means of getting myself and my crew ashore in comfort and safety.
I did some research and settled on the Catspaw 7 designed by B & B Yacht Designs. It is a stitch and glue boat. Purchased maranti 6mm plywood and mahogany stock. We finished of the gunwale with a piece of firehose.

We had so much fun with the building of the first Catspaw that we built a second one and painted the exterior white. We finished the gunwale of the second with the traditional 3 strand rope embedded into a groove we routed out.
